Ingredients for meat bombettes with bacon

  • 1.1 lbs ground beef
  • 3.5 oz smoked bacon (thin slices)
  • 1 milk roll
  • 3.4 oz milk (to soften the roll)
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 2 pinches pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley

Preparation of meat bombettes with bacon

  • To prepare the meat bombettes with bacon, place the ground beef in a large bowl, cut the bread into pieces and soften it with milk, then squeeze it out.

  • Add the bread to the ground meat, salt it, season with parsley, and mix well to combine all the flavors. Pepper to taste if desired.

  • With slightly damp hands, form many small bombettes the size of a walnut and place them on parchment paper as you go.

  • Preheat the oven to 392°F in static mode.

  • Wrap each meatball with bacon, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Bake in the middle rack of the oven for 20 minutes, and if you want them nicely golden, turn on the grill for the last 5 minutes.
