Ingredients for Microwave Cooking Bechamel
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 pinches salt
- to taste nutmeg

Preparation of Microwave Cooking Bechamel
To prepare the bechamel, cut the butter into pieces and place it in a microwave-safe bowl, preferably glass, and set your microwave for 1 minute at maximum power.
Take the container out of the microwave with the now melted butter, add the flour and mix with a wooden spoon or a hand whisk until the butter absorbs it all.
Add half of the milk at room temperature and whisk to dissolve, it only takes a few moments.
Put the container back in the microwave at maximum power for 1 minute.
Take it out, stir, and add the remaining milk.Put it back in the microwave at maximum power this time for two minutes.
Take it out, stir, season with salt and some freshly grated nutmeg and..
your bechamel is ready. 😉
