Oven-baked gratinated shrimp are easy and very quick to make — they need just 10 minutes in the oven and you’ll have a tasty appetizer on skewers, or if you prefer to make them without skewers you can serve them as a light and flavorful main course.
Oven-baked shrimp skewers are indeed quick to prepare; the only tedious part is cleaning the shrimp, but you can buy them already headless so half the job is done. Once you get the hang of cleaning them, it will also be fast, so don’t worry.

Ingredients for oven-baked gratinated shrimp
- 1.1 lb shrimp
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley (about 25 g)
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 pinches salt
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Half lemon
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (about 50 g)

Preparation of oven-baked gratinated shrimp
To prepare the oven-baked gratinated shrimp, wash the shrimp well then remove the head and shell.
Keep the tails intact.
Make a cut along the belly and with the tip of a knife or a toothpick gently remove the intestinal vein.
Rinse them again and pat them dry.
Finely chop the clove of garlic (remove the green germ) and the parsley, then mix them with the breadcrumbs.
Add a little salt.
Now preheat the oven to 392°F in conventional (static) mode and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Coat the shrimp one at a time in the seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing so they adhere well.
Skewer each shrimp gently onto the skewers.
You can fit about 4 medium-sized shrimp per skewer.
Arrange each skewer on the parchment-lined baking sheet as you go.
Bake for 10 minutes on the middle rack of the oven.
