The pizza stuffed puff pastry is a great alternative to the usual pizza, if you don’t feel like kneading and waiting for the dough to rise, prepare the pizza stuffed puff pastry following my recipe and you’ll see that everyone will love it.
If you don’t have puff pastry, you can quickly make the crazy dough, roll it out thin, make 2 layers joined with a few brush strokes of water, and the result will be perfect, a very thin and fat-free pastry.
With minimal effort, you can bring to the table a single dish that is prepared in no time and can also be eaten cold.
We usually make the stuffed puff pastry as an appetizer and since we have more time available on the weekend, we might prepare it and freeze it, then cook it before eating by letting it thaw at room temperature.

Preparation of Pizza Stuffed Puff Pastry
Preparing the stuffed puff pastry is really easy and quick, first preheat the oven to 392°F.
Drain the mozzarella of its preserving liquid and cut it into thin slices. Dry the slices and drain the sun-dried tomatoes from the preserving oil.
Unroll the puff pastry (preferably rectangular, but you can also use the round one).
Leave it on its parchment paper and cover the surface with tomato sauce. Add salt and season with oregano.
Spread the cooked ham slices over the tomato sauce, and add a few spoonfuls of stracchino, spaced out.
If you prefer, you can use ricotta or robiola cheese.
Pit the olives and coarsely chop the sun-dried tomatoes, then distribute everything to cover the cooked ham.
Place the now dry mozzarella slices here and there and roll up the pizza stuffed puff pastry, sealing the edges well to prevent the filling from leaking during cooking.
Brush the surface with a little water, bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes, checking the degree of browning.
Depending on the oven, it may take 5 more minutes.
Once baked, let the stuffed puff pastry rest for 5 minutes before slicing, serve hot with melting cheese or at room temperature, and… ENJOY YOUR MEAL
