Preparation Puffed Rice and Chocolate Treats

  • Preparing Puffed Rice Treats is very simple. First, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals.

  • Then mix the puffed rice with the white chocolate in a bowl using a spatula.

  • Line a rectangular baking pan of 12 x 8 inches with parchment paper or plastic wrap, and pour the rice and chocolate mixture into it.

Level the surface and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set.

  • Afterwards, using a cookie cutter of 2 1/3 inches (or a cookie cutter of your choice), cut out the treats by pressing down.

Gently remove the treats from the cookie cutter, placing them one by one on a cutting board.

  • In the meantime, melt the dark chocolate, then quickly dip the treats in the dark chocolate to cover only part of them.

  • Then, just as quickly, roll them in almond crumbs (you can also use pistachio, walnut, or hazelnut crumbs).

  • Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper and put in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set well.
