It’s very easy to prepare, and the chocolate together with the unsweetened cocoa gives this cake a wonderful taste and color.

Ingredients for soft chocolate cake

  • 4 eggs
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.33 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1.75 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 Pan , springform pan of 7 inches

Preparation of soft chocolate cake

  • Prepare the soft chocolate cake start by whisking the sugar with the butter at room temperature.

  • Add the eggs one at a time while continuing to whisk with the electric beaters.

    Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave.

  • Sift the flour with the salt and unsweetened cocoa.

    Add the chocolate with the beaters still running and then gradually add the previously sifted flour, using a rubber spatula.

  • Preheat the oven to 338°F, butter and flour a 7-inch springform pan, then pour in the mixture and bake.

  • Bake the chocolate cake for at least 55 minutes, testing with a toothpick before removing it from the oven.

  • Remove the chocolate cake from the oven, wait until it reaches room temperature before removing it from the pan, and enjoy it cold.

Storage of soft chocolate cake

The chocolate cake keeps under a glass dome for 4 days.
