Ingredients for stuffed mushrooms with meat

  • 20 champignon mushrooms
  • 7 oz minced meat
  • 1.75 oz Parmigiano Reggiano DOP
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsps breadcrumbs

How to prepare stuffed mushrooms with meat

  • To prepare the stuffed mushrooms with meat, clean the champignon mushrooms well with a damp cloth (never under water), remove the base with roots and soil using a knife.

  • Gently remove the stems and sprinkle the caps with salt and a drizzle of oil.

    In the meantime, in a pan, brown the minced meat with a little oil and the crushed garlic clove before removing it.

  • Salt the meat and after 10 minutes, remove the garlic clove, season with salt and parsley.

  • Incorporate the grated cheese and breadcrumbs and mix well.

    Fill the caps, pressing the stuffing slightly and creating a dome on the surface.

  • If you want to bake them, preheat the oven to 355°F, line a baking tray with parchment paper, place the caps, bake and cook for 20 minutes, basting halfway through with the liquid released by the mushrooms during cooking.

  • If you prefer to cook them in a pan, distribute a drizzle of oil in the pan, and once hot, place the caps, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

  • Then remove the lid, drizzle the mushrooms with the cooking liquid, raise the heat, and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
