Ingredients for the Tiramisu Charlotte Cake

  • 9 oz ladyfingers
  • 7 oz cream cheese (like Philadelphia)
  • Half teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.1 cups fresh liquid cream
  • 2 oz sugar
  • 2 espresso cups coffee (espresso)
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • as needed unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 Electric Whisk
  • 1 Springform Pan 8-inch diameter
  • 1 Shallow Dish
  • 1 Pastry Bag

Preparation Tiramisu Charlotte Cake

  • To prepare the Tiramisu Charlotte Cake first whip half of the cream with 1 oz of sugar.

  • Add the vanilla extract and fresh cream cheese and mix again with the beaters.

    Set aside in the refrigerator.

  • Meanwhile, prepare 2 espresso coffee and let them cool completely.

  • Whip the remaining cream with the remaining sugar and the instant coffee and set aside.

  • Dip the ladyfingers in the now cold espresso coffee placed in a shallow dish and line the bottom of a springform pan without leaving empty spaces.

  • Cut more ladyfingers in half, dip them in the coffee, and distribute them along the walls of the mold to cover the entire edge.

  • Fill 2 pastry bags with the 2 creams prepared previously.

  • Then make the first layer of cheese spread and cream, sprinkle with unsweetened cocoa.

  • Make a second layer with the coffee cream, sprinkle again with unsweetened cocoa.

  • Place the mold in the freezer for at least 2 hours before unmolding it onto a serving plate and serving it as a semifreddo.

How to Store Tiramisu Charlotte Cake

You can store it in the fridge for 1 day or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
