The crostini with tartar sauce are quick, no-cook appetizers, tasty and very simple. Once the tartar sauce is prepared, just spread it on crostini, bruschetta, and canapés to savor all the flavor, a sauce similar to mayonnaise but enriched with capers, pickles, chives and mustard.
I usually use tartar sauce to accompany meats and fish or to season fresh salads, but today I prepared a nice tray of crostini that, together with the crostini with chickpea cream and red onions, made a great impression at a dinner with friends.
Shall we try to make them together? Well, let’s start by cutting the bread slices and… Let me know if you liked them. Until next time!

Tartar Sauce Crostini Recipe
Prepare the sauce to spread on the crostini by following my tartar sauce recipe.
Cut the baguette into slices not too thick, if the slice is large, divide it in half.
Now all that’s left is to spread the sauce on the crostini and decorate as you like (I added some chopped chives and half a pickle). Serve immediately!
Storage and Tips
Storage: You can store the tartar sauce in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 days before spreading it on the bread.
You can also use a baguette for this type of crostini.
Tips: you can substitute chives with chopped onion or parsley.
You can skip decorating the crostini to speed up the recipe.
