Boiled green beans sautéed in a skillet with cornmeal, a delicious, light, and tasty side dish.
A recipe that can be prepared quickly; if you already have the boiled green beans, it will only take you about 15 minutes! I love fresh green beans; I cook them both boiled and stewed. Have you already tried my recipes for green beans and potatoes in yellow cherry tomato sauce and stewed green beans without boiling them?
Today I tried a different variation with seasonal green beans, and I must say that besides being an easy dish, it is truly a delight worth trying!

Green Beans Recipe in a Skillet
Start by cleaning and washing the green beans: trim the two ends with your hands or a knife, remove the string, then rinse them under running water and drain. If you like, you can cut them into two or three pieces.
Boil the green beans in a pot of lightly salted boiling water for about 15 minutes. Once cooked, drain them.
Melt the butter in a skillet and add the boiled green beans, cook them for a few seconds, then sprinkle the cornmeal and stir to prevent lumps or sticking. Adjust salt, cook for a quarter of an hour, and serve.
Delicious and very simple, the green beans with corn are a suitable side dish for the whole family, they are quickly prepared in a skillet, and the presence of the yellow cornmeal gives them a light crunchiness pleasant to the palate. Try and enjoy with fresh seasonal green beans.
Conversation and Tips
Storage: Green beans with corn are best eaten immediately; I recommend storing pre-boiled green beans in the refrigerator before sprinkling with cornmeal.
Tip: For this recipe, you can also use coarse rustic cornmeal.
