Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 7 tbsps butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 oranges (juice and zest)
- 1 packet baking powder
- to taste powdered sugar (for decoration)
Tools
- Bundt pans
- Hand mixers
Recipe
Separate the yolks from the whites, beat the yolks with the sugar, add the butter melted in a double boiler and mix. Add the milk, the zest and juice of two oranges, the sifted flour, and a packet of baking powder.
Mix well with a whisk, then add the egg whites beaten to stiff peaks and combine all ingredients until you get a smooth and homogeneous batter.
Brush the pan with some oil, pour in the batter and bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 40-45 minutes (I recommend doing the toothpick test before removing from oven).Once the cake is cooked, remove it from the oven, turn it over on a dessert plate and serve.
