Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 7 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- to taste powdered sugar

Preparation of Cinnamon Water Cake
In a bowl, pour the flour, sugar, and sifted baking powder, then give a quick stir with a spoon.
Now also add the ground cinnamon and mix again.
In a jug, measure the water and then also add the sunflower oil.
Start pouring half of the liquids into the dry ingredients and stir with a whisk to avoid lumps.
Then pour in the other half of the liquids and continue to mix until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter.
Line a 10-inch springform pan with dampened and well-squeezed parchment paper.
Pour the cake batter and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25/30 minutes.
Once baked, let the cake cool completely and before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar and if you want to go all out, powdered sugar with a bit of ground cinnamon.
And voila… now the cinnamon water cake is ready to be enjoyed.
Useful Tips
Taste the batter before pouring it into the cake pan and, according to your taste, add more cinnamon if desired.
