A basic recipe for 100 flavors muffins with soft basic dough, rather extra soft, and which we can vary by adding pieces of fresh or sun-dried tomatoes in oil, diced zucchini, cheese chunks, sliced olives, and much more before baking them at 350°F.
Nothing prevents serving these light and delicate flavored little cakes with savory mousses. I recommend a creamy salmon sauce, a bologna mousse, but also cooked ham. We could expand the flavors by serving the savory 100 flavors muffins with a mixed cheese buffet, such as pecorino with honey, squacquerone romagnolo, small caciottine flavored with pepper, and much more.
I have a real penchant for appetizers, and on the blog, you will find many ideas. Among them, I recommend these recipes:

- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Economical
- Rest time: 5 Minutes
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes
- Portions: 8 muffins
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
for 8 muffins to be garnished as desired with vegetables, meats, cheeses, etc.
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg (medium)
- 1/3 cup ricotta
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp instant yeast for savory preparations
- 3 tbsp corn oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 pinch salt
Tools
#ADV
- Cupcake liners
- Muffin pans
- Food scales
- Bowls
- Spoons
Steps
1) Nothing easier than preparing these finger food appetizers of savory 100 flavors muffins…
2) I place the liners in the cavities of my muffin pan and personally did not oil anything…
3) In the bowl, I pour the flour, ricotta, grated cheese, milk, egg, corn oil (for me), and start mixing well by combining all the ingredients and finally adding the 1 teaspoon of yeast for savory preparations (for me, Pizzaiolo),
4) I also add salt and pepper, considering the age of the grated cheese: mine was not particularly salty, and I added both salt and black pepper.
5) I give a final mix then insert the muffin 100 flavors batter basic soft recipe into the pastry bag and fill the liners already placed in the pan for baking.
6) We are ready to bake and cook for 15/20 minutes at 350°F in static mode or according to your home appliance characteristics.
7) A few minutes to let the savory 100 flavors muffins cool down and …
Enjoy your meal!

If you prefer, instead of making small savory muffins varying the toppings with vegetables, meats, cheeses, and more, we can make a single savory plumcake by adding the ingredients we prefer directly into the soft and delicate 100 flavors savory batter… Just slice it and serve it at the table to our guests with creamy sauces, mousses, and dips as an accompaniment!
If the batter is not too soft, add a little milk at a time!
