Still on the subject of FISH RECIPES, here are other suggestions just below:

baked red mullet fillets
  • Difficulty: Very Easy
  • Cost: Economic
  • Preparation time: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 2 People
  • Cooking methods: Other
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All Seasons

Ingredients

  • 10.6 oz red mullets (fillets already cleaned)
  • 1 lemon (untreated)
  • 2 sprigs thyme (or oregano)
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Tools

  • Parchment paper
  • Aluminum foil

For this fish main dish

  • So from the roll of parchment paper, I cut two rectangles large enough to contain the mullet fillets already cleaned of their insides.

  • I place the mullet fillets at the center of each sheet with the skin side down.

  • I season everything by adding a thin slice of lemon, some thyme or oregano leaves, a drizzle of oil, salt, and pepper in each parchment.

  • I fold the parchment paper trying to seal the edges well to prevent steam from escaping during the cooking of the mullets.

Honestly, I wrap everything a second time with aluminum foil, but I recommend it shouldn’t touch the food!!

  • I just have to bake the parcels in a preheated oven at 356°F static for about 10-12 minutes.

  • I place the parcel with the mullets directly on the plate for each guest for a scenic and fragrant effect!

  • As we open the parcel, a penetrating aroma of fish, lemon, and thyme will pleasantly fill the air… enjoy your meal and happy cooking!
