I bought on Amazon the machine to make these sweets and today I prepared these breakfast waffle/gaufre for the family.

WAFFLE in English and gaufre in French for the same treat that is crispy outside and soft inside, to be accompanied with honey, jam, fresh fruits, yogurt, chocolate cream, and whatever you like!

They are not too sweet, so if you want, I think they can also be paired with savory creams, slices of cold cuts, and cheeses. Let’s do as we please!!!!!!!!!!!

Gaufre in French means grid but also honeycomb if we speak of old French (yes, culture eh eh).

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE BREAKFAST WAFFLE-GAUFRE RECIPE

  • Very simply, I vigorously mix the ingredients such as flour, egg, sugar, and melted butter.

    I need to obtain a smooth homogeneous batter without lumps, and I sifted it all to have it super smooth!

  • I heat the waffle maker and proceed to pour a ladle that contains the right amount, always considering the tool I have at home.

  • I continue until the batter is finished, placing the waffles as I cook them on a sheet with absorbent paper.

    Some came out crispier, others softer, but they are really inviting, and I ate so many of them, without adding anything that I almost feel ashamed!!!!!!!
