Calamarata with Salmon

A main course with a seafood-based sauce, rich in ingredients and great flavor with special pasta like calamarata.

The fish used is natural salmon with a simple flavor but enriched with many Mediterranean ingredients that make it very, very appetizing and considering the period, calamarata with salmon could be a great dish for the holiday season!

CALAMARATA WITH SALMON

Calamarata with Salmon

Ingredients RECIPE CALAMARATA WITH SALMON

  • 4.2 oz natural salmon
  • 14.1 oz calamarata
  • 2.8 oz Taggiasca olives
  • 2.1 oz salted capers
  • 7.1 oz cherry tomatoes (I use datterini)
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • as needed extra virgin olive oil
  • as needed salt and pepper

Preparation Recipe Calamarata with Salmon

  • Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.

    Rinse the capers thoroughly under running water.

    Chop the onion and sauté it with a little olive oil.

  • Then add the olives, the capers, the cherry tomatoes.

    Let them flavor well on high heat for 3/4 minutes.

    Add the salmon in pieces.

  • Adjust with salt and pepper and after a couple of minutes turn off the heat.

    Boil the calamarata pasta in salted boiling water.

    Drain it al dente, then pour it into the pan with the salmon sauce.

  • Toss the pasta with the natural salmon, olives, capers, cherry tomatoes, and add the chopped fresh rosemary.

    Arrange the plates and serve this delicious main course, the calamarata with salmon!
