PREPARATION OF CARAMELIZED CHERRY TOMATOES IN AIR FRYER
Very simple recipe …FIRST OF ALL, I HEAT THE AIR FRYER TO 340°F
I wash, dry, and cut THE CHERRY TOMATOES IN HALF, arranging them without overlapping in the air fryer tray with the cut side facing up.
Then I season these juicy cherry tomatoes with sugar, a minced garlic clove (I didn’t use it all), oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
I lightly spray EVO oil, trying to season all the future confit cherry tomatoes in the special paper tray.
I bake at 340°F for 20-25 minutes, checking the baking several times for browning, aroma concentration, and intensity of the cherry tomatoes.
The cooking time depends on the size of the tomatoes and how dry you want them to be to concentrate the flavor.
