Cheese and Strawberry Millefeuille a simple and very delicious dessert with lots of fresh fruit, jam or rather preserve, and a delicious cream with a hint of vanilla!

This type of dessert is last minute for me. They are desserts that actually cannot be made too far in advance because the dry biscuit absorbs the cream moisture and turns into a mushy mess in a few hours!

Obviously, after you’ve arranged the various layers (make another one too!), you can also freeze this cheese and strawberry millefeuille, and then just take it out about 30 minutes before serving it in all its goodness and creaminess!

I preferred to soften the strawberries for a few minutes in a small pan over low heat, but if you prefer, add them plain, simply washed and patted dry with paper towels.

INGREDIENTS RECIPE Cheese and Strawberry Millefeuille

  • 1 3/4 cups Heavy whipping cream
  • 10 1/2 oz Cream cheese
  • 2/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract (for me Pane degli Angeli)
  • 4 tablespoons Strawberry preserve
  • 1 package Strawberries
  • 16 Dry biscuits

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE CHEESE AND STRAWBERRY MILLEFEUILLE RECIPE

  • • In a bowl, put the cream cheese and soften it a little with electric whisks.

    • Then add the whipping cream and whip the 2 ingredients, also adding the sugar.

    Also add the vanilla extract.

  • The mixture will be soft but not liquid and not too sweet; if necessary, sweeten it according to your taste.

  • • In a small pan, let the strawberry preserve melt over low heat with a tablespoon of water, or do it using the microwave.

    In another small pan, place the strawberries, washed and cut into 4 parts, and let them just soften gently over very low heat.

    • In the chosen pan, arrange a first layer of dry biscuits that I have not soaked in syrup or other liquids because the cream cheese and whipping cream is moist, and then they become mushy messes!

  • • Now pour a part of the strawberry preserve and add some fresh strawberries that have just softened in the pan.

  • Continue to make layers, ending with fresh strawberries and fluid preserve.

  • Store in the fridge for 30 minutes and then serve this delicious dessert at the table, creamy and incredibly tasty!
