Yesterday while flipping through a magazine waiting for the dentist, I saw the picture of these Christmas chocolate bars and my brain immediately thought of writing a little article on the blog to package together and gift a chocolate bar!
This is a cute, easy, sweet, and low-cost way to package simple chocolate bars to gift for the upcoming holidays.
Clearly, you can make other designs for different occasions like a Carnival mask, why not?!
So I went to a haberdashery to look for remnants, but as soon as I entered, I had the idea of using socks which I then bought from the gentleman at the Via Bellaria stall, and with a few inches of satin ribbon, I made the scarf… Let’s just say a small, cute idea for me to make a gift for the upcoming holidays Christmas …

LEGEND
1- chocolate bar of your choice,
2- white paper sheet, I used a simple A4 from the printer,
3- adhesive tape,
4- string to close the snowman’s hat,
5- various whole socks not yet cut to make the hat,
6- “used” socks without the upper part which is the snowman’s hat,
7- markers to make the nose and eyes of the snowman,
8- satin ribbons for the scarf.

Tips and Notes
I used socks bought at a stall in front of Pam via Bellaria and with 1 euro I bought 3 pairs of socks, so with 1 euro you can make 6 covered chocolate bars… I would say that it is really a very low cost within everyone’s reach! Instead of drawing the snowman’s eyes and nose, you can make the nose with an orange cardboard and use those plastic eyes found in haberdasheries or 99 cent stores. I left them simple and slightly decorated, but if you want, you can also add Christmas stickers, colored pom-poms, and who knows what else….
