An idea seen all over the web, this Christmas sweet hedgehog with pandoro, but not present on my blog, so…
It’s a non-recipe as you well understand, but it is quick, for everyone, versatile because you can pair the pandoro slices with any cream you like, and it can be the perfect ending of a meal during the upcoming December holidays!
Looking closer at this little animal, I was undecided whether to call it a hedgehog or a porcupine… and while I was on one leg (I twisted my ankle at the beginning of the month, I’m a bit banged up and I’m walking with crutches), my son arrived who FIRST looked at it with disgust, but THEN took 2 slices and devoured them!!!
P.S. I read in a contest question that adolescence ends at 25… I have 6 more years, darn it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also suggest another tasty non-recipe and the savory version of the sweet hedgehog…

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE CHRISTMAS SWEET HEDGEHOG with Pandoro RECIPE
Given the minimal size of my family, half a pandoro is enough, but if you have a nice big family group, use 1 whole pandoro splitting the slices for 2 little animals!
Remove the bottom and cut many slices about 0.4 inches each.
With one slice, trace a triangle that will serve as a little nose for the prickly animal that will become delicious!
In a bowl, put the fresh mascarpone (minus one tablespoon that will be needed for the nose), the condensed milk, and the chocolate and hazelnut cream.
Blend well, mixing the ingredients for a very delicious filling and homogeneous!!
Put the only mascarpone that we set aside on the nose of the Christmas sweet hedgehog completely covering it.
Open a small piece of a licorice wheel in two and make the mustaches and place the 2 chocolate chips as eyes.
Take the first slice and add a generous tablespoon of Nutella filling and continue for all the slices we have cut, placing them close to each other and trying to alternate the tips of the pandoro to give movement to the faux coat of the rich Christmas sweet hedgehog with pandoro.
Finish the slices and compose the Christmas sweet hedgehog, decorate with the whipped mascarpone and Nutella cream, the silver sprinkles, and the Christmas-themed sugar figurines.
It is a quick dessert that you can make in advance and decorate on top just shortly before serving it at the table… and before enjoying it, maybe dust it with powdered sugar!
Enjoy your meal!

not finding Christmas sugar figurines in supermarkets, I thought of ordering them online and I suggest, and it is not flattery nor am I paid, a company (DecorazioniperDolci.it) that has a vast assortment, the cost is reasonable, they were very quick in delivery, and the sweet figurines for the recipe (and also the Little Santas on the sleigh that you will see later) are BEAUTIFUL..
