Cold Cake with Coffee Flavor

The heat has arrived, the days are getting hotter and I have prepared this cold cake with coffee flavor, a very simple semi-frozen dessert to make.

The cold and quick cake is, as I said, very easy and contains a base of crumbled dry biscuits mixed with soft butter (like for the cheesecake) and a very creamy filling of Greek coffee yogurt (bought at Esselunga and delicious), whipped fresh cream, and sweetened with powdered sugar.

It is a dessert that must rest in the freezer for at least 3 hours and then be served at the table!

  • Cooking methods: No Cooking
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients RECIPE Cold Cake with Coffee Flavor

  • 1 3/4 cups dry biscuits
  • 9 tbsps butter
  • 1 1/4 cups yogurt (Greek coffee yogurt)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsps ground coffee
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

Tools RECIPE Cold Cake with Coffee Flavor

7-inch PAN

  • Molds
  • Bowls
  • Spoons

Preparation of the Cold Coffee Flavor Cake Recipe

  • For this preparation, I used a 7-inch pan which I lined with parchment paper.

I proceed as usual by grinding the biscuits and then mixing them with the melted butter inside a bowl.

  • Press the biscuit and butter mixture well on the bottom, also pressing slightly up the sides of the mold.

Firmly compact everything and try to even it out with a spoon.

  • To make the delicious cream whip the liquid fresh cream in a bowl by adding the powdered sugar and ground coffee.

At this point, pour in the coffee yogurt gently incorporating the two mixtures with a flexible spatula and upward movements.

  • Then pour the cream, smooth it well, and put it in the freezer for at least 3 hours.

  • Take out the cold cheesecake with coffee flavor at least 15 minutes before tasting it and then serve it at the table!

    Enjoy your meal!
