Creamy Baked Lasagna with Artichokes and Sausage

in ,

The creamy lasagna with artichokes and sausage baked in the oven is a very tasty first course that can also be made with frozen artichokes and ready fresh pasta.

Lately I’ve been very busy with important new things in my life and trying to keep afloat the 3000 things I like to do, sometimes I buy ready-made puff pastry and lasagna sheets because I believe it’s not so sinful to use them in our kitchens.

Andrea, my beloved and very argumentative teenage son, sniffed at the dish at first but then, thanks to the presence of sausage which he adores, he gobbled it up badly!

But adolescence, excuse me… when on earth does it end huh?????

PREPARATION RECIPE LASAGNA WITH ARTICHOKES AND SAUSAGE

  • Clean the artichokes , cut them into wedges and place them in a bowl with water acidified with lemon to prevent browning. Put the garlic cloves and a little oil in a pan and when the cloves are golden remove them and add the artichoke wedges to the pan.

  • Continue cooking, adding a splash of water if they stick to the bottom of the pan. (If you use frozen artichokes, put them directly in the pan with a little oil and when cooked add the crumbled sausage).

  • Halfway through cooking add the crumbled sausage and continue cooking.

  • While it finishes cooking cut the mozzarella into pieces and preheat the oven to 374°F.

  • Take the baking dish for the lasagna with artichokes and sausage and grease the bottom with a little extra virgin olive oil or butter.

  • Place the first sheet of fresh lasagna pasta then add artichokes and sausage, then a few pieces of mozzarella and a few tablespoons of bechamel. Sprinkle everything with grated Grana Padano and continue until you run out of ingredients.

  • Put the dish in a preheated oven and bake the lasagna with artichokes and sausage for about 30/35 minutes or according to the characteristics of your oven.

  • Remove the lasagna from the oven, let rest a few minutes then serve at the table. Enjoy your flavorful winter lasagna with artichokes!
