- 3.5 oz Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 5.3 oz Sugar
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 cups Water
- 1 tsp Potato starch (optional)

Preparation Recipe CREAMY HOT CHOCOLATE IN A CUP
For 6 generous cups of creamy hot chocolate, place the sifted unsweetened cocoa powder in a saucepan and add the sugar.
Now dilute the powders by adding the milk and water at room temperature.Put the small pot on the fire and, always stirring, let it thicken for about 10 minutes, simmering the mixture over medium heat.
If you prefer a thicker creamy hot chocolate in a cup, in addition to the unsweetened cocoa powder, add the potato starch, then dilute the mixture as indicated above.
Enjoy your treat with the hot chocolate in a cup, to which you can pair simple and filled shortbread cookies of which I’ll leave you some recipes in the notes…

Tips and notes
If you have some sugared cocoa powder in the pantry, I suggest clearly reducing the amount of sugar indicated in the recipe to avoid an overly sweet drink…
