The spoon dessert creamy trifle with strawberries is a very delicious dessert named after a type of typically Anglo-Saxon fruit-based preparation.
The trifle besides the fresh fruit has lots of custard and ladyfingers or other biscuits generally soaked in a fortified wine, a cherry liqueur, or in my case limoncello.
Perhaps I should have put more strawberries as decoration than inside, but as always, finish the trifle with fruit, custard, and any other soft cream you like, and I also suggest adding some small meringues that are sure to go beautifully!

- 1 1/4 cups fresh whipping cream
- 4.4 oz light cream cheese (I had a light version and added this)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 15.9 oz custard (for me today made in the microwave)
- 5 leaves mint
- 4 ladyfingers
- to taste limoncello (optional)

I quickly wash the strawberries leaving the stem on all of them and then remove it as I use them… I pat them with absorbent paper and cut about ten in half placing them inside the edges of my bowl.
I add the custard distributing it about the level of the half strawberries.
I whip the fresh liquid cream, finally adding the cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of sugar. I taste anyway to make sure that the sweet taste satisfies me…
After the custard, I add the ladyfingers soaked but not too much in limoncello.
Now I put the enriched cream then the sautéed strawberries with their juice … as you can see the drop shows that I put too much so…
On the sautéed strawberries I add more cream and finish with the white part added with a piping bag.
I decorate with a few strawberries at least for me since everything was overflowing and a few fresh mint leaves…
I seal with plastic wrap and put in the fridge until it’s time to serve at the table with a small glass of Limoncello
