The cucumber is practically fat-free and rich in minerals, excellent supplements to help the body in times of fatigue, exhaustion, and high stress.
Potassium promotes fluid drainage and toxins, and in summer, it is consumed quickly due to heavy sweating.
Phosphorus is an essential mineral in the processes of cellular repair, teeth, and bones. As for vitamin intake, the cucumber is rich in vitamin C, an antioxidant essential for the immune system.
Cucumbers are very versatile, and here are some ideas on how to pair them;
• salads with tomatoes, olives, cheese like Greek feta and mozzarella:
• yogurt and herbs with a classic dish like the famous Greek salad;
• sandwiches with the addition of chickpea hummus, chicken strips, and tuna chunks;
• perfect for summer dishes like gazpacho, panzanella, and all kinds of pasta and rice salads;
• in drinks like cocktails and flavored waters!

INGREDIENTS FOR CUCUMBER RIBBONS RECIPE
- 2 cucumbers
- to taste pink peppercorns
- to taste sesame seeds (white and black)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste lemon juice
- to taste salt

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE CUCUMBER RIBBONS RECIPE
Wash the cucumbers and slice them thinly with the mandoline or with a potato peeler perhaps… Prepare an emulsion with extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and salt.
