The Flamousse bressanne is a typical preparation of a region in central France, Burgundy. It is a delicately flavored dessert, also great for children’s snacks.
Ok, so far the positives…now the negatives! The mold I chose for this cake is wrong because the apples need to be submerged in the cream of milk and cream, so if you intend to replicate and prepare the flamousse bressanne in your kitchens, use a classic high mold about 8.5 inches in diameter…Ok??
Perfect, now I leave you the ingredients and doses for a simple, family-friendly, and very creamy dessert…the flamousse bressanne!

PREPARATION FLAMOUSSE BRESSANNE RECIPE
Mix the flour with the butter, sugar, and egg, then gradually add the dry white wine.
You will obtain a homogeneous mixture that wrapped in plastic wrap will rest for about an hour in the refrigerator.
After the time has passed, roll out the dough in a mold lined with parchment paper, leaving a border about 1.25 inches high.
Cover the dough with more parchment paper and place many dried legumes or ceramic balls for blind baking on top.
Now just bake at about 390°F for about 15 minutes.
Spread on the cooked base (clearly after removing paper and dried legumes) the slices of cooked apple, arranging them in a circle, wedges, or in your own personal way.
Now pour the sweet cream over the apples.
Put the flamousse bressanne back in the oven to finish baking, which will take about another 20 minutes or depending on your oven’s characteristics.
Take it out of the oven and let it cool slightly. Sprinkle it with powdered sugar and serve it at the table, perhaps with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!!!
Enjoy your French flamousse bressanne!
