GINGER AND CINNAMON COOKIES

Ingredients for GINGER AND CINNAMON COOKIES
- 1 1/3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 7 tbsps Butter
- 2 egg yolks (medium eggs)
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Ground ginger

Preparation for GINGER AND CINNAMON COOKIES
Mix the butter and sugar together.
Add the ground spices and egg yolks.
Compact the mixture well, make a block, and let it rest for a couple of hours (I leave it all night) wrapped in kitchen film.
After the time has passed, and with the help of a little flour, roll out the spice dough and make the cookies with your preferred cookie cutters.
Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10/12 minutes or depending on your oven characteristics: they should just brown slightly!
Let them cool, preferably on a wire rack.
Decorate them with icing or simply sprinkle with powdered sugar.
