With the iced Christmas Oreos, I’ve fallen into it again…

I prepared a non-recipe, a cute idea to make maybe if we have kids or grandkids, a fun way to present the famous American cookies for the Christmas and New Year’s period!

I don’t have much to tell you other than to carefully prepare the icing by adding the liquid, which can be just water or water with a drop of lemon juice, very little at a time, because if the icing becomes liquid, it won’t be useful for drawing defined lines and will turn into a mess… I know this from experience, sob sob!

If you look closely, even though it might not be so evident, the decorated Christmas OREO cookie in the center of the photo is dipped in melted white chocolate, but I confess I prefer those with white icing!

I saw a photo and thought of replicating the Christmas-themed decorated cookie where we can change the colors of the icing, we can use other cookies, even simple butter shortbread maybe prepared with the amazing Milan shortcrust pastry by Iginio Massari
