An incredibly easy and quick spoon dessert, this Kit Kat cup features delicious layers and a light drizzle of melted chocolate to vary textures upon tasting.
Besides the few minutes it takes to melt the chocolate, it’s a no-bake dessert that can be made in advance and removed from the refrigerator shortly before serving.
The Kit Kat I chose is the one covered in dark chocolate, which I adore and always keep in my pantry for a quick treat.
I went overboard on the last layer, but feel free to add less, don’t follow me haha!

FOR THE WHITE CREAM
- 7 oz whipping cream, 35% fat
- 2.5 oz mascarpone
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2.8 oz milk chocolate
- 2.8 oz fresh whipping cream
- 1 package KIT KAT (FOR ME DARK BUT….they come in all colors|!)

Steps for KIT KAT CUP RECIPE
So, I start the recipe for this spoon dessert by gently melting the milk chocolate along with the cream in a double boiler or microwave, stirring well to get a smooth, lump-free cream.
I set it aside, stirring occasionally, and move on to the rest of the preparation.
In a bowl, I put the cream, mascarpone, and vanilla and use an electric mixer to whip it all into a soft mousse.
I also finely chop 4 individual Kit Kat bars with a knife and start assembling the cups with the Kit Kat.
I put a layer of white cream on the bottom, then add the melted chocolate and some Kit Kat.
Now I repeat the layers, finishing with coarsely chopped Kit Kat, and after covering with plastic wrap, I place it in the refrigerator until it’s time to enjoy the dessert.
Before serving to the guests, I add a piece of Kit Kat sweet and we’re ready to dig into these delicious layers with our spoons!
