A fantastic spoon dessert, the mascarpone mousse is a delicate and soft cream that I flavored with egg liquor similar to Vov, which I make myself, but you can vary it by using light rum for desserts or even medium-dry Marsala.

As a decoration, I added a candied cherry and some dark chocolate shavings, but you can use crumbled amaretti or small crispy meringues…

P.S. The recipe serves 2, but if you want to make small finger food glasses, these ingredients can satisfy up to 6 people… who will then ask you for the recipe to indulge at home with this delicious treat!!!

Ingredients RECIPE MASCARPONE MOUSSE

  • 2 medium eggs
  • 120 g Mascarpone
  • 2 tablespoons egg liquor
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • as needed candied cherries
  • as needed Dark chocolate (chopped)

  • Electric whisk

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE MASCARPONE MOUSSE RECIPE

  • Beat the egg yolks with the granulated sugar using electric whisks until you get a soft and light mixture.
    Add the mascarpone and the amount of egg liquor.

  • Now whisk the egg whites until stiff, gently folding them from the bottom up to create a soft cream with a delicate scent.

  • Pour the mascarpone mousse into the chosen cups and then place in the refrigerator until ready to serve, making sure to add the candied cherry and some pieces of chopped dark chocolate.

  • This mascarpone dessert is excellent, even as a snack when accompanied by buttery biscuits! Enjoy your meal!
