Midnight Spaghetti

Quick recipe for a midnight spaghetti, with few tasty ingredients for a dish ready in 30 minutes max!

INGREDIENTS

  • 11.3 oz egg tagliolini (or others no.3/5/7 bucatini and/or linguine)
  • 10 fillets anchovies in oil
  • 1 tbsp capers (in brine)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 fresh chili peppers
  • to taste chopped parsley
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt

HOW TO PREPARE THE MIDNIGHT SPAGHETTI RECIPE

  • In a small pot, place a bit of extra virgin olive oil, peeled garlic cloves, and anchovy fillets, allowing them to gently dissolve over low, gentle heat.

  • Add the capers drained from their preserving liquid and the whole or chopped chilies, as you prefer…

    Leave on the heat for a few more minutes, then turn off but keep warm.

    Meanwhile, put the pot for cooking long pasta like spaghetti or another of your choice on the heat, add salt once boiling, and throw in the pasta.

  • Drain the pasta al dente and toss it into the pan with the quick anchovy, caper, and chili sauce, sauté for a couple of minutes adding also some fresh chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt, but watch out for the saltiness of the other ingredients!

  • Et voila, we are ready to compose the individual plates for our guests and bring to the table immediately!
    Easy, tasty, very quick, and we are ready for the midnight spaghetti!
