These muffins with seasoned pasta and cheese sauce, with speck, are an idea for a main course to take in a cooler bag to the beach on an upcoming weekend at the sea!
Personally, I used a ready-made cheese sauce from Conad because, I confess, I didn’t feel like making the béchamel sauce, which we all find in any supermarket, but…clearly, you can add your favorite ingredients!
The important thing is to season the pasta muffins with a soft and enveloping sauce to keep the individual pieces of short pasta soft and delightful!
Before taking out the muffin tray from the oven, I added a mix of scamorza and parsley to give even more flavor to this finger food main course!
I suggest other seasonings like
1) béchamel ragù and peas;
2) gorgonzola and sautéed radicchio with some crushed walnut kernels;
3) a diced mix of vegetables sautéed in a pan for a few minutes to keep them crunchy and some pieces of stracchino or crescenza cheese and…
