The no-bake cold cake with strawberries and chocolate is a fresh and indulgent dessert perfect when you don’t feel like turning on the oven.

COLD CAKE WITH STRAWBERRIES AND CHOCOLATE – NO-BAKE

Ingredients for NO-BAKE COLD CAKE WITH STRAWBERRIES AND CHOCOLATE

  • 2 1/8 cups Heavy cream (liquid)
  • 5 tbsp Hazelnut and chocolate spread (Nutella)
  • 3/4 cup Condensed milk (equal to 1 tube)
  • to taste Strawberries
  • 1 oz Dark chocolate (chopped)
  • to taste Cocoa wafers

For the preparation of NO-BAKE COLD CAKE WITH STRAWBERRIES AND CHOCOLATE

  • Line a 10 x 4 in loaf pan with plastic wrap.

    In a bowl whip 2 1/8 cups of heavy cream with electric beaters and, as soon as the liquid begins to thicken, add the condensed milk, continuing to whip everything.

  • Divide the whipped cream into 2 portions and to one portion add 5 tbsp of Nutella using the beaters.

    Also add 1 oz of chopped dark chocolate and mix into the cream.

  • To the second portion of whipped cream with the condensed milk add three quarters of the strawberries, washed and chopped into pieces.

    Now compose the cold cake with strawberries and chocolate by making the layers.

  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the bottom of the lined pan and level it well.

    Cover the first layer of the cake with a layer of cocoa wafers and then finish by pouring the portion of the cream-and-strawberry mixture.

  • Cover with parchment paper or another layer of plastic wrap and place the no-bake strawberry and chocolate dessert in the freezer for a couple of hours.

    About 15 minutes before serving, remove the no-bake strawberry and chocolate cake from the freezer and prepare to decorate it by whipping 3 1/3 tbsp of cream and melting the remaining ~2 oz of dark chocolate.

  • Pipe swirls over the cake with the melted chocolate placed in a piping bag and add some dollops of whipped cream on the dessert, then arrange the remaining whole strawberries on top.

    Serve and enjoy!
