Still in the theme of Carnival, this afternoon for a snack I prepared these soft and delicious Nutella ravioli, a sweet treat that is always very welcome and not just in this period of the year, I’d add hehe!!! 

The dough is very soft and special due to the addition of dry amaretti and the Nutella, let’s not even talk about it…

Clearly, if you prefer you can fill them with another chocolate cream or perhaps jam, but let’s go to the kitchen to fry them hehe!!

NUTELLA RAVIOLI

Nutella Ravioli

Ingredients for NUTELLA RAVIOLI RECIPE

  • 3 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 3/4 oz dry amaretti (finely ground)
  • 6 tbsps white wine
  • q.b. Lemon zest (untreated)
  • q.b. Nutella (or other chocolate and hazelnut cream)
  • q.b. Powdered sugar

Preparation

  • Mix in a large bowl the flour, the sugar, the well crumbled amaretti, the eggs, the wine and the grated lemon zest.

    Blend well and divide it into 3/4 parts.

  • Take one part and on the floured work surface, roll it out with the rolling pin to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

  • With the cutter (mine is 2.75 inches in diameter) cut out the disks.

  • Fill them with the Nutella placed for convenience in a piping bag.

  • Close the Nutella ravioli, barely wetting the edges to seal them best and continue finishing the prepared dough.

  • Fry them in plenty of vegetable oil, sprinkle them with powdered sugar, and bring them to the table!

    Enjoy the Nutella ravioli!!
