Nutella Ice Cream Sandwich

The Nutella Ice Cream Sandwich as a snack today and it’s a cold, easy, super delicious treat perfect to have available in the freezer for the summer.

It is prepared in minutes with few ingredients: whipped cream, condensed milk, and the legendary and famous hazelnut cream!

A truly summery delight to make in large quantities and always have on hand!


I used Nutella but of course you can use your favorite cream …also the homemade hazelnut and chocolate cream already published on the blog !

Ingredients NUTELLA ICE CREAM SANDWICH RECIPE

  • 8 Digestive cookies
  • 1/4 cup Condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup Nutella (or other hazelnut cream)
  • 3/4 cup Heavy cream

Tools for NUTELLA ICE CREAM SANDWICH RECIPE

  • Mixing bowl
  • Electric whisk

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE NUTELLA SANDWICH RECIPE

  • Mix the Nutella with the condensed milk in a bowl.

    In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with electric whisks.

  • Gently combine it with the mixture or mix all together using the whisks.

    Leave this “ice cream” in the freezer for 5 minutes to firm up.

  • Then take the Digestive cookies, and sandwich them in pairs with this wonderful chocolate-flavored Nutella ice cream.

    Smooth the filling placed between the two cookies to a thickness of about 1/2 inch.

  • Now wrap each filled cookie with parchment paper and leave them in the freezer until ready to serve.

  • Simple, crunchy for days, and very delicious, they will delight both adults and children!

    They make a great dessert but are also delicious as an afternoon snack!
