These orange cookies are easy to make, very fragrant and crispy, perfect for any time of the day!
The recipe is taken from Natalia Cattelani’s site on Instagram and is in good company on my blog because I have already published and tasted other recipes from this kind and very talented cooking influencer.
The cookie is made of whipped shortcrust pastry with orange aroma and zest, and we can use either a piping bag with a star nozzle or the cookie press to shape them.
If you want to make the snack even more delicious, add a glass of custard to the tray with the butter cookies and you’ll have a very inviting and delicious breakfast/snack!

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE ORANGE COOKIES RECIPE
For this very simple recipe, I start by putting the softened butter with powdered sugar in a bowl.
I mix well, adding also the aromas, for me only the orange zest and a natural orange powder bought at the ALDI supermarket.
If you don’t have an ALDI nearby, you can optionally add a little orange essence in a vial, which might be easier to find in many stores.
I beat the mixture well for 4/5 minutes to get a light soft mousse-like mixture.
I sift the all-purpose flour with the instant baking powder into the mixture and subsequently also the almond flour, preferably always sifted (even if it is a bit more difficult…).
At this point, I made a mistake…. I immediately put the mixture in the piping bag, lined the baking tray with parchment paper, and made orange-flavored ring cookies IMMEDIATELY and baked IMMEDIATELY at 340°F (170°C) for about 10/12 minutes in static mode.
WELL, the cookie spread a bit … they are excellent anyway, but they could have been prettier!!!!!!! SO, make the orange shortcrust cookies on the baking tray, THEN put it in the fridge for 30 minutes, and THEN bake and cook everything!
They will spread less …
Goodbye, thank you, and enjoy your meal!
