To my great misfortune, I bought a jar of peanut butter … Not the smooth and homogeneous kind but the crunchy one (I mean the butter haha) under the teeth and I found out that I like this food too, for crying out loud! I put it in the fridge and I confess that every time I open it to get something, the temptation to stick a finger inside is very strong, almost shameful!
Well, after devouring the first jar, today I bought the sadder smooth one for me and in the end, I decided that this is perfect for making cookies and here are the peanut butter cookies!
How long do peanut butter cookies last?
The peanut butter cookies can be stored in an airtight container for 3/4 days then they become like stones…. or we can freeze them in special food bags for a month after baking and well cooled.

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES RECIPE
To prepare the peanut butter cookies, I put all the ingredients, that is, egg, sugar, and peanut butter, in a bowl.
Mix the ingredients with a spoon until they are combined, obtaining a dense dough.
I mix this combination well with a spoon but also quickly with the beaters.
Now I wear the super tight disposable gloves and make many balls from the dough as big as… halfway between a walnut and a hazelnut, neither too big nor too chubby! Sorry, but I didn’t weigh the balls….
I place them well spaced on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, then with the prongs of a fork, I create this grid still visible in the peanut butter cookies cooked in the photo.
I bake in a static mode at 340°F the cookies for about 12 minutes or depending on the characteristics of your appliance.
Once baked, I let them cool perfectly and… enjoy your meal!
