PISTACHIO AND SHRIMP SPAGHETTI Fish main course recipe

A uniquely flavored and super-fast sauce to prepare with just two ingredients tied together with excellent extra virgin olive oil! I saw the pistachio and shrimp spaghetti recipe fish main course recipe in an issue of the cooking magazine Sale & Pepe and immediately thought of trying it because the heat is really considerable and staying in the kitchen is not very pleasant eh eh!
A small recommendation that I know is superfluous but I’ll give it to you anyway and that is… be careful not to use toasted and salted pistachios, the ones we munch with a glass of spritz during the aperitif, but the natural ones!!!

This simple and very fast sauce will be fine not only for long pasta like spaghetti, bucatini, or linguine, but also two sedanini will be great!

You can further enhance this easy crustacean-based seasoning by adding a few basil leaves that will color the sauce and perfume it a lot!

  • To prepare this delicious main course, first boil the shrimp for a few minutes or just enough time until they change color.

  • Now chop the pistachios in a mixer and store them in a bowl using the pulse mode.

  • In boiling salted water, cook the spaghetti as usual and as soon as they are al dente, mix them with the pistachio sauce, adding extra virgin olive oil and adjusting the salt.
