I love starting meals with a nice aperitif, fresh and somewhat scenic: the blog already features my Mojito, the Rossini, and other quick ideas, but this Pomegranate and Raspberry Ice-ring quickly became one of my favorites. It’s simple to make, fragrant, rosy, and beautiful to look at: just freeze pomegranate juice, raspberries, and a few rosemary needles in a bundt pan to create an elegant ice crown, perfect for chilling drinks, prosecco, or flavored water without watering down too much.
An idea that’s different from the usual, ideal when you have guests or want to give a special touch to the table, and I will surely make it for Christmas lunches and parties.
Quick and scenic flavored waters
1) Lemon + Ginger + Mint
Classic, fresh.
🔹 thin lemon slices
🔹 4–5 slices of ginger
🔹 a few mint leaves
👉 very refreshing and not very colorful.
2) Strawberries + Basil
Delicate and super chic.
🔹 sliced strawberries
🔹 a few basil leaves
👉 releases a beautiful light pink.
3) Blueberries + Lemon
Colorful but without residue.

👉 releases a delicate blue/purple.

Ingredients
- 11.29 oz water
- 2.12 oz pomegranate juice
- to taste raspberries
- to taste pomegranate arils
- to taste rosemary

Steps
Wash and pat dry the raspberries.
Open the pomegranate with gloves and extract the internal arils.Place raspberries, pomegranate, and rosemary in the bundt pans.
Pour 80–90 ml of slightly colored water with pomegranate juice into the silicone donuts.
Freeze the rings with water juice and fruit of your choice for at least 4–5 hours.
Unmold and plunge into water, sparkling wine, tonic water …and “voilà”!Enjoy the aperitif!
