Puff Pastry Braid with Pears, Grapes, and Walnuts

I prepared this puff pastry braid with pears, grapes, and walnuts thinking about the days between Christmas and New Year, when you crave something good but without complicating your life. The idea to bring it to the table also for New Year’s Eve comes from the meaning of grapes, a symbol of abundance and good luck, perfect to close the year with a positive thought. It’s a simple, fragrant, and genuine dessert, ideal to share with family or friends, perhaps as a small gesture to wish us a 2026 full of beautiful things, serenity, and memorable moments.

Once cooked and golden, allow to cool and serve with a dusting of powdered sugar.

It’s a simple homemade dessert but so, so good!

If you want to make it even more delicious, serve it with a good spoonful of English cream. You can find the recipe right below!
