The stuffed puff pastry Christmas tree is a recipe as old as I am, but since it wasn’t on the blog yet, I thought I’d fix that this year and prepare it even though Christmas is still far away!
The beauty of this super easy and quick recipe to make this puff pastry tree is that you can stuff the branches of your tree with all the savory mousses and sauces you like!
You can also prepare it in a sweet version by adding jams, chocolate, and hazelnut spread, and much more, and I’m considering making one this way soon!

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE PUFF PASTRY CHRISTMAS TREE STUFFED RECIPE
Preheat the oven to 374°F.
Unroll the 2 packages of ready puff pastry on a surface and let them rest for about ten minutes so that the pastry is “relaxed”!
This puff pastry tree is crispy and has a creamy filling made with mousse so …
In the mixer blend the sun-dried tomatoes in oil with the ricotta and adjust for salt.
We should obtain a sauce that is smooth yet slightly grainy.
Place a sheet of parchment paper on a surface or on the worktop and proceed to make the recipe as follows.
With a pastry wheel trace the perimeter of the puff pastry tree to be filled for each package of ready pastry.
Cover one of the two Christmas trees with the ricotta and sun-dried tomato mousse then place the second pastry tree on top.
With the pastry wheel cut the branches to the right and left, leaving about 1 inch in the center like a trunk.
Twist each strip on itself and continue until you finish the branches of the puff pastry Christmas tree.
Now brush the stuffed puff pastry Christmas tree with the beaten egg yolk.
Bake the stuffed puff pastry Christmas tree for about 20/25 minutes or according to the specifics of your appliance.
Once cooked, just serve it at the table and … enjoy your meal!
