Quick and Creamy Hazelnut Cup

The quick and creamy hazelnut dessert cup recipe is very simple; it is a delicate after-meal dessert with a hazelnut flavor, a type of nut often used along with almonds in pastries.

I recommend keeping it in the refrigerator until serving to intensify the hazelnut aroma!

I thought of decorating the quick hazelnut-flavored cup ready in just a few minutes with a bit of hazelnut and chocolate cream and some chopped nuts for varying textures in each bite.

  • 5.3 oz hazelnut Greek yogurt (brand Esselunga for me)
  • 4.2 oz mascarpone
  • 4.2 oz whipping cream
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar (heaped)
  • 2 Digestive (round cookies)
  • 1 tsp Nutella®
  • 1 pinch chopped hazelnuts

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE QUICK AND CREAMY HAZELNUT CUP RECIPE

  • In a bowl, I put the hazelnut yogurt; if you find the Greek one, it’s ideal for being more creamy and velvety.

  • I also pour in the liquid whipping cream and the mascarpone and mix everything with electric whisks for a few minutes, it will really take just a couple!

  • At the bottom of the cup, I crumble the biscuit or cookie of choice and then pour part of the hazelnut-flavored cream.

  • I put a teaspoon of Nutella or similar cream in a piping bag and create a spiral or doodles on the hazelnut cream and also add a bit of chopped hazelnuts.

  • Cover with plastic wrap and leave to rest in the refrigerator until it’s time to serve!
