Another idea for a quick assorted appetizer perfect for a last-minute delicious menu!
It’s about… opening a few jars and combining aromas, flavors, and textures with everyday foods we have in the fridge and pantry.
My blog is full of little recipes ofappetizers, some needing cooking on the stove and in the oven, but also many no-cook appetizers, creative finger foods, gourmet appetizer bites, delicious cheese boards that generally everyone likes!
It’s the kind of “recipe” you can make on a rather large tray to leave in the center of the table, where you can pick at it during the meal as well!

- Knives
- Oval Plates
Steps
1) Clearly, there’s not much to write, heh heh anyway …
2) I wash and dry the grapes and blackberries, but raspberries would also be perfect, or you can add thinly sliced half a Granny Smith apple and maybe some dried fruits like walnut pieces!
3) Then arrange on the serving plate the salami slices; I folded them in half and then in half again, but you can make little roses or whatever tickles your fancy, as always!
4) Cut the blue cheese into cubes, place it on the plate, and drizzle with honey which enhances and amplifies the taste for me; I also slice the asiago cheese, but you can always use the cheese you prefer, provided it’s a semi-aged cheese!
5) To make the CANAPÉS, I arranged in sequence:
a) mayonnaise, avocado slices, and salmon;
b) cocktail sauce;
c) mayonnaise and pieces of sun-dried tomatoes in oil.
6) I also take a handful of mixed salad greens and add it without dressing, because eating it with the other ingredients it gets flavored without additional oils or fats.
Here is the easy idea for a creative and quick appetizer, and… soon eaten, ha ha!
Bon appétit!
