Quick Fried and Glazed Donuts today, a cute idea seen on the web that I immediately wanted to try in my kitchen! It’s not just fast but much, much more and I advise you not to waste time making various glazes because these fried donuts are delicious only with powdered sugar generously sprinkled on top!
These little treats are quick because they are simply made from 3 layers of ready-made puff pastry joined together by a brush of water that acts as a glue and then, after cutting them to the size we prefer, we fry them cheerfully without worrying too much about the calories, in seed oil at the right temperature (338-356°F).
If you want to decorate these quick glazed fried donuts melt the chocolate of the quality you prefer in the microwave or bain-marie, with 2 precautions for each cooking technique.
IF using the microwave proceed by inserting small intervals of time to melt the chocolate then mix well and start again always for a few seconds until the product is smooth, melted, and homogeneous.
If you set longer times the chocolate will irreparably burn and you will have to throw everything in the…bin!
For melting chocolate in a bain-marie the water must simmer and the pan where you have put the chocolate must not touch the water because the temperature must be uniform and melt everything equally.

Recipe Preparation Quick Fried Glazed Donuts
For these quick fried glazed donuts I unroll the 3 packages on the work surface and put a little water in a small bowl with the brush.
After placing the first, I brush with water then place the second and brush again then place the third and last roll of ready-made puff pastry.
To outline the shape of the quick fried donuts I used the tool you see in the photo but you can use a large glass and a smaller one at your discretion for the sizes.
I start making the quick donuts
with the rectangular packages I had in the fridge, I made 12 donuts and in the notes, I calculated 6 servings because they are calorific as they are fried and I would say 2 per person are enough!
Oil in the pan wait until it reaches temperature and start frying.
If you want to check the temperature just insert a toothpick in the oil and if around the contact point you see many small bubbles forming…start without fear the cooking will be perfect!
I continue until I finish my puff pastry donuts draining them, turning them on both sides, and draining them on kitchen paper.
Melt the chocolate as explained above, adding while the chocolate is still hot the sugar sprinkles, and place the quick glazed fried donuts on the serving plate.
They are quick and tasty but in my opinion, just a nice sprinkle and go…
Enjoy your meal!
