I always have a package of puff pastry in the fridge because it quickly helps me prepare a savory pie, a savory appetizer something delicious that can be sweet and savory.
Today with a rectangular puff pastry I prepared these tasty tongues and very easy that I garnished with what I had at home: cherry tomatoes, red onion, stuffed green olives, capers, anchovies, and shredded mozzarella.

just unroll the puff pastry base and brush it with some sprays of EVO oil
sprinkle with dried oregano
then make many strips about 1.2 inches wide and start filling with washed and sliced cherry tomatoes, stuffed green olive rings filled with pepper, thin slices of red onion, plenty of shredded mozzarella that we find ready in the supermarket, sliced cherry tomatoes with capers quickly desalted under running water and a spread of anchovy paste and more chopped mozzarella!
A few pinches of fine salt, an additional spray of extra virgin olive oil and off to a preheated oven at 375°F for 20/25 minutes or until you see the puff pastry strips golden and crispy.
