The quick tuna pie is a simple savory tart prepared in a few minutes with instant yeast for savory recipes and is soft and good even as a bread substitute.
Personally, I made myself a sandwich with two slices of tuna bread adding some mayonnaise and two slices of smoked scamorza and with a nice cold beer, my lunch was very tasty!
The heat is coming, using the oven will soon become a big effort, but this savory recipe good for lunch, dinner but also everyday snacks is very very quick, I would say that in 30/35 minutes at most everything is ready from preparation to tasting, so… I RECOMMEND IT TO YOU!
If you want to make sandwiches to take to the beach or for a walk for a snack, I suggest, for convenience, to pour the mixture into a loaf pan, so it will be easier to make slices to fill!
HERE IS THEREFORE THE RECIPE OF THE QUICK TUNA PIE simple, fast, and excellent even stuffed!

- Baking Pans
- Bowls
- Spoons
- Parchment Paper
Steps
For this very quick savory recipe the first thing I do is drain the chosen tuna and pour into a bowl the sifted flour with the yeast;
then I add the eggs, extra virgin olive oil, and milk (optional addition because the dough is quite soft and spreadable anyway), combining well with all the other ingredients listed above.
I line the 7-inch pan with parchment paper and pour the savory pie dough with tuna, leveling well and then bake in a preheated oven at 350°F, letting it cook and brown the tuna pie nicely, either in oil or naturally.
After the time for cooking the savory fish focaccia has passed, I let it cool and it is ready to accompany the meal, to make stuffed sandwiches, and for a savory snack!
Enjoy your meal!

Annalisa says…
1) Use the tuna you prefer, either in water or in oil, depending on what you like and what suits your daily diet.
2) I used parsley, but it might be better to add basil, which is more fragrant!
3) I did not want garlic or anything else, but it could be a valid option, and I also suggest a couple of tablespoons of grated Parmesan or Grana cheese if you want a tuna bread that’s more savory and obviously more caloric!
4) There’s nothing wrong with adding diced cooked ham to the dough to make it even tastier!
