It’s a unique recipe with this tea infusion and almond flour, giving it an intense and fragrant taste!
Personally, I always use only Golden apples but that’s just my preference, so feel free to use the variety you consider best.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/2 cups apples (peeled and cut into pieces)
- 3 g tea leaves
- 2 tbsp water (hot)
- 5 tbsp butter (melted brown)
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 g lemon juice
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE RUSTIC APPLE CAKE RECIPE with tea infusion
I prepare the tea with the leaves and boiling water and let it cool.
I wash, peel, and slice the apples into not too small pieces.
I melt the butter until brown and let the liquid cool completely.
In a bowl, I beat the eggs with the sugar until dissolved and fluffy.
I add the tea, the sifted all-purpose flour with the baking powder, and the almond flour.
I mix the batter well and gradually add the cold brown butter while mixing again.
Finally, I add the apple chunks and mix everything well again.
I line the pan, including the edges, with dry parchment paper and pour in the batter of the rustic apple cake with tea infusion. After leveling it well, I bake in a preheated oven at 340°F for about 40/45 minutes or according to the characteristics of our home oven.
Once cooked, I let it cool and decorate as desired… Simple powdered sugar or a light glaze of powdered sugar and a little water or lemon juice according to your personal tastes!
