FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE RECIPE
In a small pan, I put the water and sugar and over medium heat, I melt them and reach an amber color according to personal taste … Obviously, the darker it gets, the more bitter it can taste … ATTENTION!
Once the water and sugar are melted together, I add the lukewarm cream and butter, paying attention because the liquids will chemically splash here and there.
As soon as the mixture is manageable, I mix well with a spatula and continue off the heat, letting it cool well.
That’s it, guys, it’s all done! Once lukewarm, we can use it to decorate the edges of a cake, some cookies, and then we store it in the refrigerator in an airtight jar.
Clearly, with colder temperatures, it will become less creamy; we can heat it for a few seconds in the microwave and go …
