INGREDIENTS RECIPE SAVORY MADELEINES WITH HAM AND BASIL
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsps vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 packet instant yeast for savory preparations (for me Pizzaiolo)
- 1/4 cup Grana Padano cheese, grated
- 4 oz cooked ham (diced or in strips)
- to taste basil (freshly chopped, about 4/5 leaves)
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE RECIPE SAVORY MADELEINES WITH HAM AND BASIL
In a bowl, beat the eggs with a fork, then add the flour, yeast for savory preparations, and the Grana Padano cheese, grated.
Dice or slice the cooked ham (I had a block at home) and add it to the initial mixture, then pour in the liquid ingredients: oil and milk, and mix again.
The mixture is fluid but not too runny. After oiling the chosen molds, pour part of the batter into each cavity and bake at 356°F, cooking for 20/25 minutes in static mode or according to your oven’s characteristics.
Let them cool, then remove from the oven and unmold these soft savory little cakes with cooked ham and lots of basil!
