I really love fish but unfortunately, I don’t cook it often, so I promised myself to learn new recipes to share with you, like this recipe for sea bream fillets with potatoes!
The recipe is very simple: I covered the sea bream fillets with small slices of potatoes, some Taggiasca olives, and stewed cherry tomatoes. Here’s how I prepared this fish main course…

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE SEA BREAM FILLETS WITH POTATOES RECIPE
1) Blanch the thin potato slices for about 2/3 minutes, then drain them on absorbent paper.
2) In a small pan with a little oil, stew the halved cherry tomatoes with a small sauté of shallot or chopped white onion for a few minutes.
3) In the oven pan previously lined with parchment paper, place the cleaned and washed sea bream fillets and arrange the potato slices slightly overlapping until covering the fish surface.
4) Add the Taggiasca olives and sprinkle everything with a couple of pinches of thyme leaves.
5) Salt, pepper, add a drizzle of oil, and bake for 15 minutes at 356°F (180°C).
6)After the time is up, place the sea bream fillets with potatoes on the serving plate, add the stewed cherry tomatoes, and we’re ready to taste!
7) A fish main course I would say is essential but tasty! Enjoy your meal!

1) Very easy recipe that we can prepare with sea bass, cod, or plaice fillets….
2) I managed to slice the potato very thinly using a knife, but if you prefer, use a mandoline for uniform slices!
